Hold President Clinton to the same standard of integrity. And then ask all members of Congress to do the same.

A lot of your responders wonder what lie Bush ever told. A friend of mine explains that it isn't a lie if it isn't intentional. That is such a weak standard that it is almost impossible to prove anyone ever lied. All you have to do is claim you believed what was false when you said it.
But for President Bush, we do have this one remarkable gem: "We are a nation of laws, and wiretaps require a warrant. Nothing has changed." This statement was made several months AFTER Bush secretly abolished the FISA Court.
Bush made numerous other egregious lies, but this particular one is prosecutable. Lying is a free speech issue, unless the lie is made under oath. In this instance, it isn't the lie, but the crime itself protected by the lie, that is the offense. Most US presidents have told occasional lies for one reason or another.

He didn't lire so it's a non question!
Listen to the facts dude! The dimocrats did not even read the intelligence!! What does that tell you???
How did Bush lie to them when they did not read the intell???
Cmon man HOW??????
Shrillary and Fedwards have both admitted to not reading it and going to Clinton administration sources for their info then coming back and voting for war authorization!!!
So tell us how he lied!!!
You want to blame Bush for the intell when clinton cut the intell budgets in half, publicly stated he only wanted to deal with upper crust people on intell, put a wall between the FBI and CIA on purpose, refused Bin Laden three times, ignored even
Jane Kerry telling him to invade in 1998!
so tel lus how Bush lied!
Why not tell us how he lied when Vladimir Putin admitted on June 24, 2004 that Russian intelligence had told us numerous times between 9/11 and the start of hostilities that Irai intel had told they were trying to set terrorist attacks off inside the U.S.
Now tell us what you would be saying if he had not invaded knowing that!!!
Why aren't you blaming Bush for disarming North Korea? Or setting all These arab states on the road to fighting terrorism?
Or bring Iran to the point of bargaining over their nukes instead of blustering about them?
Cmon man I dare ya!!

I would find a hippie and whip the snot out of them. Then I would write Santa Claus a letter and tell him what I want for Winter Holiday (I wouldn't want to offend any of you nut jobs by saying Christmas). Then I would look for some Elvis tickets since he isn't dead and might be going on tour again soon. I think believing in these things is about as realistic as the trash you believe in and at least they are nice things to believe.

I think it is far more likely that Bush would admit that he has on rare occasions spoken the truth

If he is still in office I would shudder at the prospect that the evil one, Dick Cheney would possibly be President.

That's like asking "What would I do if i grew 40 feet tall in one day?"
It's never going to happen, so I don't worry about it.
