Philosophy obviously does exist. Whether it's a god or not is another can of worms.

Philosophy exists, but gods do not. Philosophy asks about gods and may decide they do not exist.

Whether you make a god of it is up to you.

I recommend not doing so. Most of the really bad philosophy comes from people trying to "prove" things that are beyond proof. I submit that good philosophy is a tool, and elevating it to a god (or even over-rating the tool, or overextending its application beyond its capacity) is more or less treating it like a god, and certainly produces corrupt philosophies.

Philosophy does exist. It is not a god, although some scholars have deluded themselves into thinking of it as one. It is an excellent method for motivating people to think and look at concepts from various angles...very useful in law and compromise.

Plato's highest goal for philosophy was and is "to know God."

"Doing philosophy" is a means to that Good.

Lord Bacon's "idols of the mind" include feckless circularity, that kind of "grad student in philosophy" shtick which Wittgenstein, among other more profound thinkers, found use-less. He counseled many a grad student to learn some useful trade, e.g. healing arts, etc.

"Exist" is not necessarily "Being," which is God.

Plotinus' One Mind Soul as philosophic awareness assuredly "exists," even as Sri Ramakrishna regarded Himself (he is a Godman) as a tool toward Soul-individuation...useful for that "task."

By "god" you import "demi-god," or that which may or may not be Godly, One Mind Soul-Realized. "The divine right of kingship" is of this sort; in Truth, "King" = "Key to incarnation of God."

Christ Jesus is King of Kings, even as there be "gods many."
