I was shocked to learn the Judge that decided the recient Evolution Case was a Beer Truck driver that Bush appointed to the bench.

What gets me is the very reason I vote for Conservative Presidents is to uphold Conservative Judical apointments and to uphold a strong rule of law.

I don't really care one way or the other about his decision.(today) But what in God's Green Earth did this guy do for Bush that got him on the Bench.

Was it a Budwiser truck. Is the ultimate Bush Beer perk to retire as a Judge.

Great Answers:

I was not as much concerned with his decision as I was cuorious about how he got on the Bench. Then with a years experence does a Scopes Style Trial.

As for right and wrong I was not empressed with either side. The ID guys blew their case the same way the LAPD blew the OJ case. Bad evidence.

Are you expecting me to believe that the President of the United States appointed a beer truck driver that was never a law school graduate, a lawyer, or already a judge of some experience? I believe your making the mistake of taking something out of context at the very least, if not being purposefully misleading. It would not matter if the man appointed to the supreme court was at one time a truck driver that happened to drive beer trucks, other than that I would be more likely to trust this judge over most other silver spooned liberal appointees. My current dentist is ALSO a truck driver, when his practice is slow he drives gravel trucks for major construction such as the I-35 project in Minnesota. He drove such trucks to put himself through college and dental school and has kept his license current ever since just to keep a foot and hand in the door!

Source? The only judge I could find that you could be referring to is John E. Jones, and he was a lawyer for many years before he became the chairman of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board from 1995 to 2002.

it might have something to do with graduating law school and becoming a lawyer for several years after driving a beer truck. Who cares what he did while going to law school. At least he earned his own money for collage.

The Judge ruled correctly.
You had some activist Christians who argued poorly for an importat subject.
It is not enough to right you have to be correct in your reasoning. The people in Penn were not.
