Nessa ~ Fleetwood Mac are NOT an American band - they wouldn't exist if the 3 remaining members of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac {a British blues band} hadn't gone to the US and found that if they wanted a new guitarist, they had to take his girlfriend too!
And while Jimi Hendrix was an American, he came over to Britain, where The Experience was formed with 2 British musicians.

As a proud American, it kills me to say this. But I have to give Britain the credit it deserves.
America has turned out some good bands over the years, but none anywhere near the caliber or volume of Britain.
Germany's not bad either. :)
