this question is killing me i think it is a reactant but can i have some friendly help please:P.I just want to be more sure of this.

If I understand your question correctly, yes: the starting materials are the reactants.

Reagent is the term most commonly used (if they are changed/consumed in the reaction) but reactant is correct also. If the reaction is catalytic then the molecule acted on by an enzyme is the substrate.
