My Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Downloads is where all of your downloads go after you unzip them. If you haven't unzipped it, don't worry; it won't affect your game because you likely haven't put it in the right spot (and if you did, the game won't read the zip file).

there should be a sims folder in your documents and in that a folder called downloads if u cant find it download another thing and pay attention where u save it
