Rudeness does not have to happen.
A good explanation of any sort, is better than rude & crude.
A young person might remember what this person done to them when they asked their question.
An intelligent answer can also be given to someone who asks a rude, and crude, question.
There is no reason for disrespect. A person can always take an exit if there is a reason for it either way .. for the answer or the question.

I know what kind of life my grandparents had when they were younger; they loved to tell us about their past. However, when I'm on a bus or walking around town and see different elderly people from different classes, I can't help but wonder have they always been like this, what were they like when they were children, teenagers, young adults, parents - if ever they were parents - middle aged people just enjoying life, how society was in their day, what the taboos were compared to this day and age, what they believed, what was outrageous, ... And then I usuallly come up with a new idea for a short story. [lol]

If your asking a parent, it helps if you have a very open relationship with them. If your asking a friend thats older, they might not be good at talking about sex, you really need to ask a person that is really down to earth and open to anything, someone easy to talk to. I know any of my kids can ask me anything, but that is beause I have always told them from the time they were around 11 that, if they ever need to know something in that area, I would rather be the one giving advice on that then some whoodlem they don't know. I have a very strong and open relationship with all my kids and hubby as well, they have never had a problem asking me anything in that area. Some people just react differently than others.
The rudeness ans disrespect is just stupiness on their part, they have no idea how to talk about sex in an open way, it's not like it's a disease, but some people are just not open like that, but to be rude, I blame it on non educated~~ in this area. ANY parent needs to have the ability to openly and honestly talk about sex with their kids. It's a natural interest and normal part of life.

What age is the young person that is in here trying to get their rocks off by harassing the adults. That young person needs to talk to their parents. The young person wants to take part in an adult conversation then it is thier responsibiltiy to act as an adult. Hope that clears it up for you. Or would you like Yahoo to implement a policy that you have to prove you are an adult to be on the Answers groups?

I'm not sure what your question is but really if they ask a silly question who knows how people are going to respond. Who are you to judge peoples responses queen tut of Yahoo Answers grow-up. If it's the young person's parents maybe they should research the net before they post a question?.

YES IT IS
YOU HAVE TO SMACK THEM WITH REALITY IN THE FACE!
Or would you rather have them learn the hard way like we all did?
