If we play a five man midfield then I think yes. Either Beckham, Wright-Phillips or Lennon on the right-wing, either Hargreaves or Barry in that defensive midfield holding role, either Joe Cole or that Villa geezar on the left-wing, with both Gerrard and Lampard as attacking midfielders supporting Crouch upfront as a lone striker. That is the only way we will do it tonight. And why not a five man midfield? that is clearly the best option if Owen and Rooney are out, who would argue? We don't have any other strikers apart from Crouch and he is just a bag of ever-lasting ramdom luck!!!! Crouch is the sort of player who plays well if others are playing well around him. He needs others to make himself look good, taking nothing away from him, how the hell has he done so well for such an average player? Anyway this midfield option is clearly best for both Gerrad and Lampard. The crap they can't workm together, bollox!!! The only reason they can't play together for England is clearly because one of them has to defend which makes me come to my conclusion of if either one of Hargreaves or Barry is playing, why would they need to? they could both support Crouch upofront I say in an attacking midfield sort of way, one either side. They could intercept now and again with the wingers which would allow Beckham and Joe Cole for eg. to sit back and help defend if need be. This my friend is the only way, trust me, I know my footie mate!!!!

They won't even try to win both sides will be happy with the draw. They both go through every one is happy.
Why risk going for the win when 1 mistake would put them out

Yes they are, can`t be doing with people who don`t support England when they are British themselves, if Scotland got through I would support them, but that`s the difference between the English and Scottish, sooner we get shut the better

It's not just a case of "Will they win"
It's just as important HOW they win.
They must get the fans confidence and support back.
If they scramble to a one goal win, they will still get booed off the ground.
It must be the charge of the cavalry tonight.
