yes there is still some talent in the NBA, but the rest of it, 90%, seems to be a bunch of mush mouth, pants around the ankle, big bling around their neck, and tattoed up thungs. I can't sit through it anymore. I used to love the sport, but their behavior is has completely turned me off.

yes its still watchable. Like that guy said, focus on the game, not what they do outside the game. And its only been 20 days or so since it started, so if you aren't already "excited" enough, wait for a while ot see what goes down. How do you not enjoy watching the celtics? paul pierce, kg, and ray ray dominating almost every game, and having a good shot at the championship which none of them have ever experienced. Kobe is still scoring 30 ppg, then you got T-Mac coming back tonight. The suns are a pretty enjoyable team to watch too as well as denver. Dwade will start heating up, and then there's the all star game, which for the first time almost, people are unsure of the starters. So if you can't find the nba watchable, you shouldn't even consider yourself a fan of this sport. Mush mouths are not only in basketball, they're in every sport. What about football? A bunch of players prbobably fit into thtat category, will you sotp watching that then? What if i said every hockey player wears gay clothes, hit each other every game, and curse all the time? Are you going to stop watching movies beacause all the actors get in sex scandals, drug addictions, and have a party life? Try to get some perspective, and watch the actual game where none of the things you listed are present.

Yes, the NBA is watchable to me and I love watching it. Are there "tattoed up thungs" playing in the NBA? Well, I don't know what a thung is but depending on who you are then maybe there are some "thungs". But you just need to concentrate on the game. Who cares what certain players decide to wear around their neck and what tattoes they have? They still play awesome basketball and it's till enjoyable so deal with it, or stop watching.

Yes it's still watchable to me. The style of play has changed in the last 10-15 years but it's still fun to watch.

I'm not sure what pants around ankles and bling bling have to do with the game. Players don't wear jewelry on the court and their shorts aren't sagging, they're just longer today than when Dr. J played.

Hey, are you having a racial connotation here?? Almost all of the people with "mush mouths, pants around the ankle, big bling around their neck, and tattoed up thugs" are AFRICAN AMERICANS. I know, you're not trying to be racist, but the tone sounds very suspicious. Look, I know some of the players are too ingrateful for what they have achieved, but the NBA is more than watchable, it's better than ever because almost every team (except for about 6) have a chance at the playoffs if their division rivals fall with injuries. On court it's all good; if off-court stuff bother you, then you shouldn't watch any sports because all sports have off-field problems (lets see, NFL has drugs and shooters, MLB has steroids, NHL has people who beat the snot out of each other and mess up the league). Sports will always have problems. It may not be pretty, but a true fan would still watch some of it, not be completely turned off.

I could of sworn this was 2007, not 1950's. (Ok Masta) what are u going to do w/me. Hang me w/a noose! U got some racial issues Mr.Hale Turner.

Hope u know who he is!!!

The pants around the ankle OK I understand u. The commissioner already cleaned that up= They all where a suit, tie, and a some khaki pants!

I hope u weren't coming off a racist, and if u weren't than I apologize, but if not

I admit some of the things some players do are stupid! But beyond that tattoo's aren't always associated w/gangs. I was an "A" student in school and I got tattoo's of my great grandma who meant a lot to me. Why? B/C its sentimental! Take a look at some of those tattoo's. Lebron has a tatto on his back that says Chosen 1. Why? C'mon

you do know that there was a rule instated that they have to where suits and ties if they're not playing in the game or sitting court side, right? so this whole big bling, pants around the ankles, mush mouths is just you not watching the game... watch the game. also that 10% that has "some talent"... who exactly are you referring to? just another racist... beside if you don't like it don't watch it. i'm sure the sport will recover from losing you as a fan some how.

human nature make us look at the bad things of something. there are good people who do good things in the NBA. you just have to look for them. there also bad people who do bad things, but you'll find those people anywhere you go. if these things upset you, why dont you move into your mothers basement where there are no bad people.
and the players in the NBA have the utmost talent. ur just making is sound lik u hardly ever watch basketball and saw one game and decided to criticize the players. even the worst teams have talent because they get good draft picks (e.g. sonics)
secondly, ur judging the players on how they dress. anyone could do that. i could say that someone dressed in a nice suit and tie is a rich snob who probably bribed their way up the ladder. it takes good intellect to be able to be able to tell a persons character by examining their lifestyle and how they speak to other people.
and who specifically has turned you off. give me a list of 30 players and then you might have a good argument.

I don't love it as much as I used to, because of the stars changing teams, and referees tailoring outcomes.

Now that I know a ref was fixing games, I am less satisfied with the preferential treatment referees give to "name" players.

Now that I know a ref was fixing games, I am less satisfied with the referees being critical factors in winning and losing!

Now that I know a ref was fixing games, I am less satisfied with the referees being all Americans, when "Captain Canada" Steve Nash got jobbed (knocking down a flopper with his NOSE!!!)

I am a Canadian, and I am doubting that "Canada's team" the Raptors are getting a fair shake in ref decisions.

Last night P J Ford was kicked on purpose, on a play where he got the foul!

He missed a season and a half with a career threatening injury a couple years ago, so I worry about him.

He could barely get up!!!

Ford left the game with a stinger injury, and is doubtful for tonight's back-to-back road game!!!

If the three-man referee team included one Canadian, I might be less suspicious of favouritism.

It reminds me of a professional wrestling "referee", acting like he's a real, impartial ref; while secretly "coaching" BOTH so-called "opponents" on how to make the (phony) graph-ling "match" look good.

i think of it relies upon. As an off-the-cuff fan, I rejoice with looking at NBA video games--I believe you that the officers seem to get a splash too in touch, yet known, the action is many times severe adequate to be astounding. Now, if I have been quite into basketball, i think of i might have a various opinion. i think of i may be plenty greater able to take a seat and spot each foul that wasn't referred to as, each commute, and so on. with a view to declare that this is unwatchable is a splash plenty, yet I particularly see the place you're coming from.

given that most teams still sport players with attitudes more suited for streetball, there are very good teams in the league where such attitude does not exist. i'm a spurs fan and luckily that team does not subject their fans with such unsportsman-like behavior.
