I still can't get over how good that book is
I haven't been able to pick up another one because I know it'll be a disappoint after reading that classic

It is a wonderful book, I love the character Millie but I have to say I identify most with Scarlett That woman would move heaven and earth to get her way...and I have to say I would to if had anything to do with my family although I dont know if I would steal my sisters boyfriend to keep my home but some of the things I would do.

I also love that book and movie...but over the years, I have read many excellent books, and none have been disappointing to me. There is a new book out called "Rhett Butler's People" by Donald McCraig...this book is written in Rhett Butler's perspective.....Scarlett by Alexandra Ripley....she wrote the official sequel to GWTW.......I have read Scarlett and loved it....and am planning on Rhett Butler's people this long holiday weekend.......check them out...Happy Holidays!

It's a fabuolus book. I have to say that I love Rhett. He is a great character because he is everything good & bad about the time in one person. He is very clear on what he wants in his life. I love how he treats Scarlett in the sense that he knows she is young & foolish & sees past all her flaws. He has his demons too & he knows that which makes him such a great, self-assured character.

I am sorry but I do identify with India cause I was the one that was always getting left . LoL!! but all that changed when I met my husband . good luck and happy reading .

It is a great book and movie. Probably my most favorite of both. I love Scarlett.
