Is the actual name of the store Pet Smart or Pets Mart?

I use to work there and originally, the name of the store was PETsMART so it would go either way (Pet Smart or Pets Mart). Within the last year or so, they decided to officially change the name to PetSmart (the newer stores already have the new signs on the buildings and the older stores are slowly getting new signage as well).

The company actually used a trick to come up with the name. People can take it as Pets Mart or Pet Smart. that's why they combine it and make it one word.

The origanol name of the store was Pet Smart, as you can see on the front of there stores, the letters that are in red are Pet and in blue its Smart. But now days it comes across as Pets Mart.

I think it is supposed to be both becuse it is a pet mart that is pet smart so it is both

The name is SUPPOSED to make you ask this question - it's both you see, it's Pet Smary and it's Pet's Mart. It's a play on words so it can be two things at once, geddit?

that got me too but as a joke i asked a worker he said it was both but most people say Pets Mart
