I think that ended somewhere around 1783 or so after the British Army packed up and left.

An interesting question that seems lost on most people who answered.
Revolution is about change. The American revolution is about changing to world in a positive way, a way of personal freedom, which is something most people in this country take for granted.
Revolution is about leadership along a new direction.
Someone recently pointed out to me that we as Americans lead our government, not the other way around.
The short answer to your question should be no, the American revolution is alive and well. We simply need to boot out those in government who think the tail should wag the dog.

I think we are headed for another revolution in this country. The government continues to make oppressive movements which are eroding our freedoms and ownership rights at a steady pace. In the current day many are willing to accept this in the name of security, but there is going to come a time when people realize that the cost of the illusion of security was the freedom they cherished most. When this happens they will rebel and I am not sure America will survive intact.

We're in the middle of the great American fat revolution where our average weight increases and we have heroes like Michael Moore and Rush.

It's over...thanks to public education. Starting with my generation, we are taught that the only way to get your voice heard in politics in to vote. And many history classes leave out the fact that the most important social movements in history were reactions AGAINST the government, not BY the government. I guess this left many Americans with a sense of complacency with their government, assuming that they know what's best. Many have forgot that the founding fathers' intention was, "Of the people, by the people, and for the people." Or they just don't care.
