Here are some topics for you. Choose for or against, and argue your point....
1) Should horses be ridden?
2) Should dogs be killed for their fur coats?
3) Should kids be paid to go to school?
4) Should you be allowed to go barefoot in public?
5) If you find 100 dollars, is it yours to keep?
6) If a kid does a crime, should the parents do the crime?
7) Should aimals be used to test new products?
8) Should cellphones be allowed in class?
9) Should boxing be banned?
10) Do police belong in schools?
11) Should the government rate music?
12) Should teen criminals be locked up in adult prisons?
13) In disasters such as the Titanic, who should be saved first? (eg. women, kids, pensioners, rich, poor, blacks)
14) Should gunmakers pay the cost of gunviolence?
15) Should beaches have rules?
16) Should people lose their jobs if it helps the environment? (This is an OUTSTANDING topic! so much to do with it!)
17) Should schools have dress codes?
18) If you find a historic treasure, does it belong to you?
19) Should girls have their own schools?
20) Should schools have dress codes?

These are good because they are interesting topics, and you can go into them in as much detail as neccesary, or keep it pretty simple. I hope this helps, and if it does, i wouldn't mind ten points for a best answer! Hehe, no pressure! :)

There are a lot of topics to choose from. I just had this assignment in a college level course. You didn't specify that there were limitations, but steer clear of controversial topics such as gay marriage, death penalty, or abortion. The best in my class was over organ donation. There are a lot of resources available, and you could do a survey of some classmates or other students to see who is listed as a donor as a source. Good luck!
