My hubby mom is visiting and staying with us and lastnight he went talk to her in his underware. Is this ok? He said thats my mom

My guy wouldn't do it in front of his mom, but to each their own. He's obviously comfortable around his mom, and really, there was no harm done. Don't worry yourself with it. It's not a big deal.

He has probably done this his entire life .. and thinks nothing of it. His Mom probably thinks absolutely nothing about it.
In fact, if his Mom thought it was unappropriate .. she would probably be the first one to tell him to get his clothes on.
There probably just were not any bad thoughts being generated.
24 years old .. is a little old to still be doing this - it is a little different than when he was 12 years old .. but each person .. and family .. and the way they do things .. are different.
If it makes you feel uncomfortable .. and you just plain don't like it ... then tell him your feelings. He should honor your feelings. It won't take much to slip on a pair of jeans .. which is really more appropriate anyway .. he is an older married man now.

'normal' is really relative here, mind the pun. apparently if neither of them really cared about this conversation then yes it was normal. all depends how you were raised I guess. I walk around my apartment in my underwear or even nude whenever need be, I am not a shy boy. but I don't think I would in front of my mother unless it was some sort of odd circumstance.

I don't see a problem with it, my son is 22 and he does but again it is boxer. He doesn't do it in front of his younger sister though. To each his own...he just knows I am his mom and I don't look at him any other way.

It's weird, but it's fine.
It is his mother, simple as that.
Some people are comfortable being in very little around people in general, especially their parents.
Me personally, I am 24, and I will not prance around in front of my mother while I am in just my bra and underwear, but if she comes into the bathroom to get something, and I am standing there in my bra and underwear drying my hair, I won't care. Now I wouldn't do that in front of my father, but men have a different relationship with their mother's the women do with their fathers.
Men don't think of their mothers in a sexual way or relate their mother to sex, they think of them as nurturing and protective.
Also, men are less insecure about their bodies, and think of their bodies in a less modest way. While women think of being in their underwear as being exposed, men could care less.
I would not get worked up about this at all. While it's a little weird for you, it is perfectly normal for him.

Okay? No! I believe it shows a lack of respect for both himself and his mother. Tell him to put on some pants/PJs and a shirt. If he doesn't, start the processing of divorce before you have children who will be traumitized by Daddy prancing around in his DVDs when their friends come over to visit. Sorry, but your hubby needs to grow up.

Not a big deal. Men are just not worried about the underwear thing and it is just his mom. Different if it were your single female friend.

What he has never heard of a house coat maybe he may not have been embarrased but what about his mother. Maybe next time if he has a house coat go grab it and tell him to put it on.

That's a little strange in my opinion. He should have thrown on some sweats or a robe or SOMETHING! I wouldn't want my grown son walking around in his undies in front of me!

Yeah its okay. What is the big deal. It is his mother and she has raised, bathed and nurtured him from birth. It may be border line if he was naked, but if he at least had underwear on then there shouldn't be any problem.
