My favorite fish is the one who walks into the bar thinking he is a better 8-ball player than I am. If he is cocky and loud mouthed that makes him even more of a favorite. If he likes to gamble, he is number one on my list of favorites.

If you mean aquarium fish, it is definitely the dwarf pleco varieties. Hardy, cool looking, they help clean up the tank, the father takes care of the eggs until they hatch, babies are cute (aren't they all?), non-agressive with other fish AND the only fish they will eat is a dead one.

If you mean food, it has to be red snapper. Mild taste, no bones and it is great with a good white wine and a little lemon juice on it.

What's your favorite?

As you are asking in the PET SECTION not the food one I'm going to presume you mean to keep not eat!!! LOL

For me it has to be the Plecostomus! I just love watching them glide around the tank. You can't call that graceful movement swimming!
Angel fish come a very close second though! They too move in a slow and graceful way.

If however I'm wrong and you mean to eat then --- trout!

My catfish are ace! They all have personalities.

We've got the big momma, Poppy. She's a bronze cory :)

Then the lazy albino cory, Glados, and the frittery pimp-daddy peppered one :)

It's getting over fished, so you probably shouldn't eat it, but monkfish is superb. Turbot is also very good - hmmmm
