Prostitution is debatable as a personal freedom because they tend to use abused women.

Polygamy

Pro-choice but i would not do it

I think the richest of our culture should help the poorest as an obligation and as payment for the freedom to make money in our free society.

I think corporations should be policed so that they do not abuse the people.

I also want small interest groups kept away from out politicians.

I also think that most people are very confused by the media and their own judgments are used to rally them for unjust causes...

Your viewpoints do not follow the platforms of the Republican or Democratic parties. You are definitely a Libertarian. I'm a Dem and I agree with a lot of what you stand for. I'm Pro-choice, but I don't think it's my place to put my values on others. I'm gay and I appreciate that you agree with me that the government needs to stay out of the gay marriage issue. I'm one of those people you would probably call "rich" and I fully agree that I don't pay my fair share of taxes. I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had and I'm willing to pay more taxes to fix social security and improve the conditions of those less fortunate than I am. As for the media, don't even get me started there. There are so many outlets on the left and the right that make me angry, I won't even watch them. If you're trying to sort through all the candidates, I would guess that Ron Paul is probably your guy, only he doesn't seem to think we need taxes to solve any problems.

Liberal democrat! Libertarians know the harm regulations and taxes do to the poor. You would fall in line with Hillary! She believes in personal freedoms on one level! She doesn't believe in economic personal freedoms and that is where her, you, and the socialists meet! As for me, I'm to smart to waste my vote on a controlling leader that is truly unneeded. Dr. Ron Paul's freedoms and liberties are the best thing not only for me but also the citizens of America!

P.S. And another thing! What the hell are you talking about prostitution using abused women. Many women who are abused don't go into prositution and many prostitutes are people who would rather work 25 minutes once a day to pay their bills that have never been abused! You are just stereotyping at this point!

I think that the drinking age should be 18 again. I also think that allowing adults to have a small amount of marijuana is OK, however if they break the law while high, the sentence is doubled. I also hope that women would only have get pregnant sex when they wany a baby, but just in case they can get an abortion if they so choose.

Part of the problem is weighting your opinions. I think you belong best with democrats with a bit of libertarian, which is my own philosophy. I used to think republicans more believed in leaving people alone(helmets and personal freedoms), but I don't think that's true at all anymore. I don't think you have an ounce of republican in you, unless you go back to Barry Goldwater.

I disagree that Ron Paul is your candidate-the one place i really disagree with him(although I like many of his positions) is the merging of church and state. He thinks a state religion is a good idea.

Holy cow, someone I almost fully agree with on Y!A. Who would have thought :) I think of myself as an independant that leans Republican. I don't like labels, I wish to be able to change my mind rather than party.

No one candidate fits all of your interest but I do think Ron Paul fits with what you like probably more so than others.

You're a Democrat. A pretty solid one at that. The only libertarian leaning you have is the helmet and seatbelt thing.

From what little I heard, I suspect I would if Pawlenty (sp?) was his vp. I am looking extra carefully at the VP in this election.
