If a laboratory were on fire and a baby sat next to a tank holding dozens of frozen embryos and you could save only one, which would you choose?

Since the embryos are frozen, they stand a chance of surviving if the electronics don't break down. The baby could not, both because he/she could be burned, but also due to smoke inhalation...Therefore the baby.

luckily, i know from experience i can do more than people who cannot phrase a correct analogy to a moral debate can imagine can be done... so i save both, if i have an understanding of the importance of the embryos to future research and know what they are, which is as unlikely as a baby just hanging out in a lab, unattended and waiting on a fire.
But i am sure we are all proud of those people on here who have donated their brains to science, prior to death.

Why trivialize a good question by following up with a dumb one? It's the Pope at work again! Why does he not do something to help the 26000 children who die each and day as a result of poverty.
