If you can't eat the whole thing in one night ITS ENOUGH.
And there is no way 12 adults and 3 kids are devouring an entire 21lb turkey in one night what with everything else you're probably preparing to go with it.

I think you should consider 1 pound of turkey per person, 15 people, 15 pounds..should be more than enough, depending on the age of the kids.

its 5:04 am in austalia, we dont celebrate thanksgiving but the american Today show is on and they just said 1 pound per person so i think you will be fine
