He should see an urologist, there is nothing to be ashamed of. The doc sees 100s of men like him every month. So he won't even remeber him after a few weeks. And it is not good to experiment with prescription meds without his doctor knowing it. It can be dangerous as they can have side effects.
This is a good source where someone could have same experience as your husband - http://www.viagrafans.com it's an online community of viagra cialis and levitra users with a good message board and info about these meds and their side effects

You have tried Viagra but have not seen the doctor? I assume you mean he tried it...but you haven't see a doctor so who knows maybe you took it! As you didn't get it from your doc, maybe he hasn't tried Viagra at all. Maybe it's good thing too, might not be what he needs or even good for him. Without seeing the doc your husband might try any number of things, some of which will be fake, some of which could be dangerous for him, some of which might kill him, and none of which may work. This is what urologists do. Male health. Every day they see men aged 18 and up who have the same problem. Worth the trip.

Hi Anne
We have seen it all before, there is no need for him to feel embarrassed.
If he has not seen his doctor, where did he get the Viagra?? Please dont tell me you got it off the internet - 80% of that is fake so thats a possibility why it is not working.
Viagra is a prescription only medicine for a reason - if you can not get an erection it can be a sign of a more serious disorder.
Your husband must see his doctor.

Embarrassing as it may be he may need too.
Psychological stress can lead to ED as can many physical problems that may need to be checked.
If your husband is over the age of 40 then he should have a prostate exam regularly. If he's under the age of 40 and the problems aren't psychological he should see a doctor to make sure there is nothing seriously wrong preventing him from getting and maintaining an erection.

Your husband should try to understand that he shouldn't be embarrassed. This is such a common problem. The causes could be many, cancer of the prostrate, side effect of medications, to much drinking or drugs, and even depression. The list is much longer. Take him to the doctor and have him checked before he gets so upset that life takes a turn for the worse for him and you.

It's not safe to take Viagra without asking the doctor.
He should see his doctor and not be embarrassed, the doctor is seeing this type of problem every day.

well the best thing to do is tell him he needs to go to the doctor because it could be something serious and if it is checked out then if it is bad it could get a lot worse
does your husband smoke heavily, drink alot, take drugs, has lots of stress, psychological problems?
these could be some factors

He needs to be seen by a doctor. It my be embarrassing for him,but not for the doctor. Tell your husband that you love him unconditionally, but he needs to be checked out to make sure there is nothing medically wrong.

You don't just get erection automatically. Have to have a lot of floor play after 1 hour.
