Different people in different parts of the world prioritize things differently.

A little black man running around the dessert in Africa may be a very, very smart guy but would fail western style IQ tests dismally. Simply because what we find important and teach our children, is not important to him.

We on the other hand, for all that we consider ourselves to be well educated, would starve in short order if we had to track, capture and kill our dinner.

Make sense?

IQ tests test for only "mental acuity." There are, however, different types of intelligence, for instance, emotional intelligence, and Soul Wisdom mean quite different things from IQ. Have you ever known somebody with a very high IQ, but very little wisdom? For instance, caught up in greed? Or somebody with very high IQ but selfish or bitter and angry? I'd rather associate with a person of average IQ with a loving heart, wouldn't you?

some people have stronger and weaker veiws on different subjects.

For example, someone who been brought up in a racist enviroment may have stronger views on racistium then offers. However they may not realise that there views are stronger as they have been brought up in it there whole life

Therefore, people will have different levels of intelligence depending on there enviroments. subconsciously they have very strong beliefs in the different aspects of life so they dont realise how smart they are in that subject

hope that helps

how could it not be so? each issue you list has an impact on how we think, and how we think is a measure of our intelligence.
