As the saying, Unite two people with one hope.

I think I can accomplish that by using the name Lorene. My one loved one middle name was Lorene which means laurel referring to the laurel tree or sweet bay tree symbolic of honor and victory. And my other loved one first name was Bernice means victory bringer.

So, I figure I use just the name Lorene as a middle name I will be honoring both of them at the same time.

Do you think that works? Any other opinions.

That's a very sweet sentiment, and the fact that you put so much thought into the name makes the meaning even more special. And it's a pretty name too!

That's a great way to honor them! I love when people honor loved ones by using a variant or meaning. It breathes fresh life into names. Another idea is Victoria, because it means 'victory'. Maybe Victoria Daphne, or Daphne Victoria? Daphne is Greek for 'laurel'.

My name is Katherine Elizabeth after my family members Kathleen and Jewel Elissa. I love that my name is from family, but they're my own.
