NO

There would still have only been room for those that got into the lifeboats to get away from the ship.

More people on deck may have actually led to more deaths, due to crush injuries and overloaded boats sinking

I have seen some people discussing if the Titanic had not closed its watertight doors, would it have floated longer. Maybe long enough for help to arrive. One show made a to scale model of the Titanic that would simulate it sinking with its doors open. I remember that their conclusion would be that the power plant would have been flooded sooner which would have resulted in trying to do an evacution in pitch dark. I think that it did not make much difference in the amount of time that the ship took to sink. The ship sinking in the same amount of time in pitch dark would have resulted in even more confusion and would have resulted in more deaths. I believe that this was on a show on the History Channel.

Ah, I see what you are talking about. The gates preventing the different class compartments from mixing. Ok, if those had been opened then more people would have been able to make it to the top of the ship. You would still run into the problem of there not being enough lifeboats and the problem of the people in charge not adequately filling those lifeboats. There might have been a bit more of a mob mentality if more people were on the decks. However, it is possible that if the people were allowed to get to the surface then more people might have survived.

maybe but remember they still didn't have enough life boats to save them and if they tried to swim they wouldn't really get that far because of the freezing temperatures in the water(and by all that time all the lifeboats were full and already out in the water
so te real thing that would have saved more lives would have been to have more lifeboats
