They're pretty hard if you're not going to see other people...when I was 14 my boyfriend moved away when his dad got a job in Egypt. We lasted a few months but I really missed getting a kiss and a cuddle and in the end couldn't bear all the waiting and missing him and got a boyfriend closer to home. A year later when my boyfriend told me that he'd been offered a job in Canada on almost double the pay that he got in England I felt like it was a nightmare that was happening again. I missed him so badly at first and when he realised how unhappy I was he suggested we have an open relationship...do the physical stuff with people in our own countries but remain emotionally faithful to each other (i.e. not fall in love with other people). It took a while for me to get my head round but now I'm so happy and love my boyfriend even more. So I guess if it's a monogamous LD relationship it can be very tough, if it's an open LD relationship and you're open minded and won't get jealous, it's not bad at all.

No. The several that I was in did not work out. There's always a question of trust in these distance relationships.

I dont think of every physique desires to have an prolonged distance courting. existence happens and gets interior the way, you in easy terms might desire to paintings around it. If somebody desires to be with their long distance BF or GF adequate/or they love them adequate, they're going to circulate to the place the different individual is and supply up the long distance element. those people who've relationships over the internet or out of state "merely because of the fact" are probably dropping their time. long distance relationships wont final if there isnt dedication.

It might work for some, but I'm not the type to be involved in a long distance relationship....
I'm too touchy, feely.

I think some can if given the right effort and expectations. Not all do though...it depends on how strong the feelings are

I'm hoping so... but then again he's only a couple of hours away. Guess we'll wait and see since it's just starting.

sure they can, it just depends on the people involved and how much they love and care for each other. and if they find enough in common with each other then i believe it can work very much.
