Oh my goodness.
I read this the other day but think it shameful of others to stoop to her level.
What happened to that little girl was absaloutly rotten and awful it should never have happened and the mother who started it all should be punished, how yet, i don't know!
But these bloggers have gone way to far posting pictures and phone numbers and addresses, that's too much for anyone i think.

There are some problems with that. What exactly constitutes online harrassment? I have seen heated discussions on here that flow from one question to the next. Would that be considered online harrassment? I can see a law like this being abused. To avoid that, a very complete defintion of online harrassment needs to be made. From that a test can be made to determine if something going on it online harrassment. It is not a good idea to just create a law without thinking about its ramifications and its interpretations.

I do agree with the idea of making it illegal for an adult to misrepresent his/her age to a minor, such as making it seem like the adult is also a minor.

This "mom" tormented a 13-year old to the point that the child committed suicide. Online or offline, harassment is harassment.

What good mother would do that to a child? I think that woman needs to be prosecuted! I think the family of the dead girl should persue a civil case and take that family to court for all they have!!!

Ridiculous. That would be absolutely ridiculous. Why are people becoming so thin skinned and helpless that people "in charge" feel that they have to create a new "crime"?

Does anyone else see what is going on?
