I woke up this morning to see my goldfish with red fins. He wouldn't eat the night before. What is wrong with him? Please help!

He's got some sort of bacterial parasite...my Dad just went through this with his fish too.All you need to do is describe it to a pet store guy and he will show you the meds to drop in the water.Good luck.

If it is the part of the fin attached to his body he may be getting fin rot. Ask a local fish dealer (not a wal-mart-chances are they have no clue what they are talking about)

Hi Bon, 2 classic signs of poor water quality. You need to be doing regular partial water changes to remove & dilute the toxins to a safe level. Test your parameters, ammonia & nitrite [NO2] need to be zero & nitrate [NO3] needs to be 40 or below. I would pull that puppy outta the tank and color the rest of him red. Maybe he'll look more proportioned? ok matt
