For me right now I have nothing to be thankful for.

Also why do we become Gluttons on Thanksgiving Day?

Being here to continue the fight. If I wasn't here then my relatives could put my parent in a home and go to the casino with the cash. Also need more time to get a shot at gong to Heaven. Take Care.

I'm thankful everday for what I have. Not just around the holidays. Even though what I'm going through, is kind of **** some people have deeper holes than I do.

Well I am thankful for God blessing my family so much, and obviously blessing me.

I'm a freshman at high school and this year has gone, surprisingly pretty well for me. I've been getting excellent grades on my tests and report cards, okay I got like a D in Algebra but get off my back I'm not the mathy person. I'm thankful that band, and marching season has gone well and excellent. That I have the confidence I need for auditioning for band again this year. That my piece for Solo Ensemble is not TOO difficult. Lol.

Surprisingly I'm thankful for being alive, you don't know how many times I've felt like dying, but now I'm at a state where I'm happy, and things are going awesome. And everything's been peaceful (for the most part).

The thing I'm most thankful for?

Ah that's easy. I'm thankful for my mommy.

I love my mom so, so, so, so much. Sounds cheesy, but she fills up my whole heart. Whenever I'm feeling down or when she's feeling down, no matter what she's always smiling for me, or encouraging me because she wants me to be happy. And not a lot of good mothers, or even fairly decent mothers do that. She is the sweetiest, craziest, funniest, prettiest, lovliest, most hard working, outspoken, etc. The list goes on, and on and on. I think I really have the best mom in the world. God could've gave me a shrew of a mother but instead he gave me the best mommy and the only one I want. Nobody can replace her, or nobody could take her place in my heart ever.

She is one in a million and I'm glad. So I'm thankful for my mother and I'm thankful for God.

I hope you think of at least ONE thing you're thankful for. Your life can't be ALL that bad.

And I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

blondie.

There is much I'm thankful for. Not that I'm bragging... what you're thankful for sometimes depends on where your standards are set.

How about breathing?
Food. Any food.
Shelter from the elements. (clearly you have this as you have access to a computer.)
Beautiful things (they need not belong to you).
Friends.
People who have the potential to become friends.
Do you still have your teeth?
Enough mental capacity to be able to even ask the question.

As for gluttony -- yeah, we go overboard with it. I read a study recently that concluded that people tend to eat more when there is a large variety of food available at any one meal. And a traditional Thanksgiving feast certainly has variety. Makes sort of sense (until you are sitting on the couch too stuffed to move). I get your point.

Everything. You should thank God every day because he has kept you alive to even ask this question. Thats one thing to be thankful for. Another thing you should thank God for what he has blessed you with. Such as your house, computer, life, ect. Trust me you are more blessed than you think. Some people are homeless and have nothing in comparison to what you have.

I'm very thankful this year because I recently got engaged to a wonderful man and this is our first Thanksgiving together. I'm also thankful that my children are happy and healthy.

Wrong.

You have plenty to be thankful for.

I'm thankful for my God, family, country (U.S.A.) food, clothes, shelter, and our brave soldiers fighting for our freedoms.
