I think no matter what, it was right he had to go to war, they bombed us, you can't just let that go, that is like a real offense, but I just think he did not know how to lead or have an end plan that backfired, but I don't believe in war, but there really was no other choice....what do you think?

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! AND FOR THE LAST TIME IRAQ DID NOT BOMB OR ATTACK US!
EDIT: Hey ED HARLEY - you are a certifiable moron. Wow.. We weren't atacked by Iraq, we were attacked by Saudi's based in Afghanistan. Why aren't you screaming for us to attack Suadi Arabia? and we were attacked 3 months into his administration?/ Huh?? since when did we start terms in June? He was in office 8 months, most of which he was on vacation. Well I guess your post is an example of one moron defending another..birds of a feather they say..

First of all the people in Iraq didn't bomb us. And now we know that Saddam didn't have a nuclear anything.
But we did right by chasing Al-Quaida to the ends of the earth. And we need to keep chasing them wherever they may be.
AND we did right by toppling Saddam. He was killing the Iraqi people by the community load. What we didn't do right was to plan with any other group in Iraq how to take over their own gov't. But this war while being a worthy cause needs a better strategy. We aren't planning anything of any consequence and the democrats aren't helping by continually sounding the alarm without coming up with a real and sound plan. There is no middle ground or even anything that makes sense at this point. Yes we did the right thing but what is the right thing moving forward?
**BTW***
Asker of this decent question-in denegrating a veteran you make yourself out to be idiotic. It's one thing to stand back and criticize. There's nothing wrong with holding a different viewpoint. But before you start trashing us Vets go there. Get shellshock and see how you come out of it. Yes I know we made a choice but it was an honorable one. How dare you denegrate any man or woman that took a bomb or bullet and has bled for you? That's why we do it. It's the honorable thing to do! Would you have also been one of those degenerates that spits on Vets coming home? Go walk a street in a known hostile neighborhood littered with kids and empty rifle casings wondering when you are about to take your last step. Will you know it? Will it hurt? Will you end up with mental capacities but unable to communicate them and leave people to believe your are a vegetable? What happens when that f--ker leans out the window and starts raining down fire and hell on you? Are you going to fire back and take a life? Run for cover? How much freakin ammo does he have anyway? Are there more than one up there? Holy crap is he firing from behind a kid?? Go live that freakin life for one day lady and then come back and tell somebody to go get shell shocked.

I think you have your recollection of recent events a little confused.
Iraq never bombed us. Supposedly, the mastermind of the 11 September attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon was Osama Bin Laden. So far, our politicians have been unable to capture or kill him.
The original invasion of Afghanistan was because he was supposed to be there. Well, he is supposed to be in Pakistan. So what are we doing in Afghanistan?
The truth of the matter is, it is our aggressive foreign policy that is attracting terrorist attacks. We are bombing and occupying foreign lands. This has the effect of alienating various groups of people, some to which are not know to be nice people. What would you expect them to do?
Who has benefitted from the 11 September attacks? The special interests who are making billlions of dollars financing this undeclared war, the mercenaries who are making three times what American military personnel are earning. And of course, those politicians who wish to create a police state, robbing us of our liberties and trampling the Bill of Rights.
If we followed the advice of the Founders and had avoided foreign entanlements, look at the American lives, let alone Iraqi lives that would have been saved. Look at the military equipment that we would still have. Look at the money we would have saved. And consider how much safer this nation would be.
Our adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan have weakend this nation militarily and financially. Americans have lost a good deal of their rights. That's why I am voting for Ron Paul.
By the way, I was in Iraq in 2004-2005.

I think a lot of things so I will list a few.
1. I believe in Bush, he is real. I met him once and he is a nice guy.
2. Iraq did not bomb us but Hussein was bad. Iraq is strategically located so it is the most crucial territory to hold in the war on terror.
3. You don't have a very good grasp on the English language so I would suggest that you stay in school.

The only reason Bush attacked Iraq is because he wanted to finish the job his father couldn't! Iraq did NOTHING to you and as far as I'm concerned they should have been left alone. Yes Hussein was a tyrant, but can you honestly say the people of Iraq are any safer/better off now? DON'T THINK SO!

If there were no Al Qaeda or Taliban in Iraq, how did U.S. troops manage to kill tens of thousands of Al Qaeda and Taliban IN IRAQ???
Let's face it, liberal Democrats are the party of HATE. If we had NOT gone to war after 9/11/2001 these same Bush bashers would be screaming about how Bush did NOTHING after we were attacked and he should be impeached.
I'm not fond of GWB but when we were so viciously attacked less than 3 months into his administration, there was NO choice he could have made that would NOT have been exploited by the liberal left. That's what the liberal left does. Exploitation of EVERY POSSIBLE situation for political gain and to HELL with all who oppose them!

iraq bombed us that news to me.i was under the impression we were attacked by al qeida based in afghanistan.rhichard clarke a guy who worked for reagan bush sr.,clinton and bush jr,as chief counter terrorist advisor said during9/11 and the day right after 9/11 bush was trying to make a link between the attack and iraq when there was no link.
i think ur a good example of what happens when u watch only fox and not other news networks u get brainwashed.u can't let the media brain wash u.u have to watch both conservative news and liberal and try to decide fact from political bias for urself

Are you serious? Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Nadda. Zip. If you don't believe me then ask president Bush. He has said publicly, more than once, and on tape, that Saddam had nothing to do with the attacks.

Who bombed us? if you are talking about 9-11, there was no connection to Iraq...I supported invading Afghanistan, as they were involved in 9-11. Iraq was not.
