Believe it or not, my 'sex talk' was given when we moved to Florida in 1969. We had a White Female Persian Cat, and wanted Himalayans. We borrowed a neighbor's Siamese cat.

Our education was to watch the Male cat chase our female cat all over one of the bedrooms. They were all over the place. Up and down the curtains, up and down the walls. The tom finally nailed her atop the curtain rod.

Then we watched the kittens being born a few weeks later. Never did get the Himalayans, however, we did get one solid black cat with a tiny white bow tie, and she had the scratchy Siamese meow. and she never shut up from the day she was born until the day she died. Yes, she even meowed in her sleep...

I don't remember any specific event---as a child my folks read me a children's book called "How Babies Are Made," which was pretty explicit. "the man and woman kiss and carress each other. They often will speak their love for each other. Then the man inserts..." I do remember that the folks told me several times that they'd waited until marriage to have sex, and were glad for it...there was some talk about sexual morality, which I mostly ignored---I wanted to DO IT...

No. Everything I know about sex is either from a book or something I saw on tv, besides, I dont want a talk.

no. and what's more, is that my mom still thinks i'm a virgin; I'm 29....... so erm, i doubt it. But what sucks is that i cannot talk to her about stuff like that, or about boyfriends or anything. *thinks* not that i date much, because i don't.
But, So, when i was going through a bunch of junk, and when i first lost my virginity like 8 years or so ago..... i had no one to talk to about anything. I can't even talk to her about guys in general. I try to ease things into the conversation, about guys and stuff.... but she always changes the subject. *sighs* whatever. Some parents are like that i guess.
Had my dad still been living, i probably would've talked to him. He was eaiser to talk to. But i am still thankful for my mom though. ♥

My dad tried when I was about 8. Something about fish, and not doing what everyone else does, even when a boy makes you feel special. Then he left. I learned from others after that.

No, they didn't stick around after my birth to give me any talk. And my adopted mother never gave me "the talk" either. Oh well, some things you learn on your own.
