Honestly, I have them about even with the Colts. But if the Colts get their players off the injured list I think they could make it to the Super Bowl. So, at worst, I'd place the Steelers at #3 in the AFC and able to beat any team out of the NFC come playoff time.

Yeah, but it may take a year or two to adjust. The AFL is the ARENA FOOTBALL LEAGUE now. I think you mean the AFC and yeah they have a chance. They play strong when playing a good team. The problem will still be the Special Teams though, they lost an AFC Championship game because of that years back and could see it happen again.

Actually outside when the original AFL merged the Steelers weren't that great. They were great in the mid to late 70s. Now maybe they would have been better before had they been in the AFL(they were an NFL team and moved to the AFC).

No no no no no no. the pats may be the best team ever; I’m not saying they are but we will see at the end of the year. Why would you think they could, is it that they are like the 4-5 best team in the AFL ahhhh or AFC? There does not seem to be a team that will come into their home field and take away anything but nothing from them.

If they play vs. New England the way they did vs. the Jets, then no.

However, Rotlisburger's one of the most consistent and versatile NFL quarterbacks. The only problem is, he's not nearly as accurate as Tom Brady, precise as Peyton Manning, or as good at making decisions as say, Brett Favre (it's NFC but you get the point).

I think Pitt could pull off an upset of Indy, but to beat New England? That's asking too much from Pitt's offense, and even MORE from their defense. I don't think Pitt could beat New England.

There has not been an AFL since the late 1960's. That was the time when the Steelers last played quality football.

I was looking at their record today and 7-3? That's not the record of a winning AFC team. The Cowboys and Packers are doing way better. I don't care if the NFC is the weaker of the two divisions, we're still pwning.

They were the pick to upset the Patriots in the playoffs until they lost to the Jets last week. Now its Patriots undefeated throughout the playoffs to go 19-0. New record.

Not this year they dont . I think that they will get to the wildcard game by chance and with help from other teams, but they will not get any farther than that. If they do get farther than that then it will all be by chance.

They have been losing to teams that have no right beating them or being close.

The inconsistancy makes me say no but if they get hot like they did a couple years ago you never know.
