If you want quick info rent the documentary " I know I'm Not Alone", it's the story of a US musician who went into Iraq a few years ago to look for the human side of the war.
He interviews a lot of people, including musicians and radio dj's, which were actually criminal until Husein was removed from power. Free thinking radio that is. Great documentary, showed a whole side of the country that has never been shown before.

I heard from my parents that there actually were marshes in Iraq, and it's kinda hard to explain, but there are like, these tiny islands that can hold up to one house, and the water in the marsh is'nt that deep. And by the way, this is a report. You shoud reaserch it. try www.Iraq.com or something. I dont even know if thats a real website, really......

Iraq has a great pumpkin throwing fesitival. The biggest of it's kind. Murder She Wrote was also filmed there at least 75% of the time. They also have a great rave scene. Instead of glow sticks they use flaming swords though. Some little known facts. ok matt
