It is an excellent book, probably the most notable of Bradbury's works, not my personal fav, but an excellent book. It speaks of the times, and the recapitulation of the orwellian 'Big Brother', where things we take for granted are banned for our best interest. I'm sure McCarthy thought it was a great idea. The thought of burning books, with the possible exception of anything written by O.J. is horrific, but it has been carried out in the past, and these stories are the best way to remind us not to let it repeat.
