No chance.

To find out what RAM you need do a free scan at Crucial:

Laptop ram wont fit in desktops. Luckily ram is at an all time low for prices. Find out what type you have--crucial.com--and get some more. If you have vista, you can use a flash drive to boost it, works like extra ram.

No, the chips are different sizes.

Unless you have a "tiny" (manufacturer, not size) laptop. They built a few models which were actually desktop PCs in a small case, with a LCD stuck on top. They ran very hot and battery life was terrible.

hi mate
sorry,no....laptop memory is different to desktop memory and also a totally different size aswell
laptop memory is called "so-dimm" orsmall outline dual in-line memory module is much smaller than desktop memory, mainly due to the small space its going into
another downside of the small space of a laptop is were a desktop can hold up to 4 memory modules a laptop can only hold 2 extra sodimm modules and sometimes only 1 extra
hope this helps
good luck mate !

Probably not as the pin config on the memory sticks will be different in size and numbers.
Highly unlikely
