What Thanksgiving is complete without a dysfunctional family argument?

Yes...Definately!
First my dad and brother are refusing to go to my house because he hates my mom's brother. I dont like him either but its Thanksgiving so...
Second, my Grandpa's new "lady friend" might show up and just a couple weeks ago she got in a screaming match with my sister and mom!
Finally, my little brother doesnt want to come because he had a ski trip planned with friends and my mom made him feel guilty about not wanting to spend time with the family.
To top things off my younger sister is having a baby with a guy no one likes and she is due on thanksgiving. the doc told her it could be any minute now!
So..yes in conclusion i do believe there will be some kind of argument at my Thanksgiving get- together!

I am sure my mother in law , my husband and his sister will argue over some trivial things like how many holes are in a salt shaker or if all Bourbon is whiskey or maybe it will be the, is a vacuum cleaner also called a sweeper. They always do this. I think they love to disagree about trivial things. It is just what they do.

It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without a family scuffle or two. The great thing about this holiday is that even if there is a fight, we can all forgive eachother by the time we all go home thanks to a great dinner and some pie.

Yes...It has been like this for 13 years (my entire marriage) at every holiday and get-to-gether. One person was never happy and I think got joy out of everyone's displeasure. She passed in May this year. I don't know what to expect. Her husband and son will be there.

Not really arguments. Just a lot of questions, like "Where's your husband?" Let the awkward times begin!
