Yes. I was about 7 years old. I packed my little suitcase and some PB & J sandwiches and ran away to my fort in the back yard. My Dad sat in the yard the whole day reading to make sure I didn't run any farther. When I went to go inside to use the bathroom, he pretended he didn't know me and I burst out in tears. Then I said I wanted to come back home and he said only if I didn't do it again. I never did until I was 23 and "ran away" to Florida!

Yes. My running away was me saying "I'm running away" to my brother and I left the house. He followed me. I walked to the creek and hung out a little bit and then got bored and came back home.

I didnt try, I did...
I told my mom that I hated her, and I was going to go somewhere...
I packed my bags...
The funny thing is... she helped me pack my bags... She packed me some juice, and a few sandwiches...
I headed out the front door, and she said to lock it, and I was like (why? what if I wanna come back?)
She said (If you run away, Ill just call the cps and have them send me a new child... No biggie.. and if your running away, you dont get to come back...)
so I locked the door, and then went outside, and sat behind the bushes for about 6 hrs, then I came back to the door, and asked if I could come back home...
It was funny...

Yeah, my friend and I ran away together. We hung out in the bowl of the woods for about 6 hours before we were caught and hauled back home. We were very prepared with groceries and towels, spare change from out piggy banks and everything. It was fun while it lasted.

Ayep. Ran away once - made it almost to the next town's border - called the "runaway hotline" from a phone booth and the next thing I knew there was a police car behind me at the curb.

Once I walked away from my mom in a mall and she left me. I searched for her for two hours and finally went outside and there she sat waiting for me in the car. I was so scared. I was 8 years old. In my opinion, she was wrong. I have a small phobia now about getting lost when I drive to new places now.

Well not exactly but I was in a mood with parents so I decided to spend the night in the old shed in the backyard, but I didn't stay there long because it wasn't comfortable sleeping on a hard wooden floor.
