I had an e-mail address that was phished and of course is now sending out spam. Now, I have this related to my IP Address which won't allow me to e-mail hotmail and half of my contact list. Not to mention people who are contacting me regarding the horses I have for sale on line. Is there a way to contact yahoo and speak with someone directly? Or do I just have to live with it?

I've already opened a new e-mail address and have tried to close the old one, but where the person who stole my old one changed the password I haven't had any luck. I just want that old e-mail closed down and no longer associated to my IP Address.

An IP # might properly be reassigned to a distinctive consumer. You connect along with your modem, an IP # is assigned to you. enormously no longer likely which you get an identical on your next log-in. in case you're related 24/7 with a broadband connection, you have an assigned IP #, yet even which could modulate. Henceforth, the IP # reflects your actual area (greater advantageous midsection city), no longer a particular region (Mr Smith's laptop, 123 important highway.) besides the undeniable fact that, one might desire to argue which you go away a foot-print. One IP # at a given time can element to the specific laptop (at an exact region.) additionally, a Webserver has (maximum probable) one specific IP handle, which could bring about the situation the place the internet internet site is placed (some laptop in a rack, in some company, inner maximum domicile, and so on.) An email can no longer lead at as quickly as returned to a guy or woman. yet an email leaves strains, i.e. there is mostly a direction to the beginning of the e-mail (initiate with the uncooked source or HEADERS.) in case you're Joe Schmo, you are able to hint the IP #, you will possibly desire to "Ping" it (extremely effectual.) different than that, regulation enforcement has the approaches (and convincing-skill) to song returned on your IP # or your email handle. So, be careful and behave ;)
