oh my god dont call you child poppy!!!
try something really different and interesting
like Alexia or Alexandria etc
when you hear poppy you immediatly think of a small unimportant flower or the drugs!!!
buy a baby name book if you need help

first of all how come the thumbs down mob are on the loose again, the people above are just giving their suggestions so how does that warrant a thumbs down from anyone?
sorry about that, felt all brave for a second there,anyways my names would be Roshine, Rosari, India, Lyla, Roxy or Tanna, don't laugh its taken me ages to think of these i thought i had a lot more hidden up there, must have writers block or something.
i tell you what, why don't you call your baby to be Poppy, LOL

Names I like are - Angel, Eva, Eve, Olivia, Yasmin, Amber, Sophia, Yasmin, Eden, Stella, Jade, Keira, Sky, Summer, Caprice, Violet, Crystal, Macey, Madison.

I love it. I also like Rose, Lily and Violet if you want a flower name. For some reason I also like the Welsh name Cerys, and the Gaelic Caitlin and Catriona.
Whatever you pick, please remember that the kid has to live with it, and a lot of these "trendy" "unique" (bleah!) names just won't stand the test of time, and nobody will say/ spell/ get them right.

Poppy having quite a Brit feel -- top 30 over there ;) --Penelope or Philippa with Poppy, Pippy or Pippa as a nickname also come to mind. ;)

Really different name........Poppy .that isn't different. I know SEVERAL people with that name.
If you like flowers (following on from Poppy). Try Fleur, Bluebell, Blossom, Carnation,Flora,Fuchsia,Peony, Petunia, Zahara
