Why does it matter what colour your skin is, what language you speak or what country you come from?
Arent we all the same species?
Why is it that we are one of the only animals in the world that willing kill one another for no reason?
I just dont understand!
Is there something really wrong with us as a people?

The Human Specie's is not civilised nor is it likely to be in the near or even distant future. We are too tribal and Territorial to ever become civilised.
There is also the problem with religious superstition which is a major burden on the psyche of Humanity. Since WW2 which was supposed to be the War to end all Wars, we have continued to slaughter each other by the million in dozens of conflicts. Then there is Crime, 24 Million including 13 thousand murders in the USA annually and they are by no means at the top of the table. The forsaken deformities of Humanity are many and profound.

We are not the only species to kill with no reason. But other than that, you're right, there is no reason to differentiate between humans based on superficial traits.
Edit:
No there is nothing wrong with us as a people and not all people or even the majority think this way.. Assuming that all people are like this is nearly the same thing as think that a race is better or worse than another. The reason that these are similar is that you are making a generalization about a large set of people based on a limited sample.

It's in SOME peoples nature to put others down(and I use the word liberally) to make themselves look more important . Probably stems from bad upbringing or lack of self worth.

There is absoluately no matter what colour, religion, etc a person is. There are a lot of racists in the world and their views stem from ignorance, which will probably never change. I abhor violence and racism

It has nothing to do with skin colour or what country we come from its about Culture's and Religion and that's what causes wars oh and greed.

oh no sorry, you have me all wrong, i would not want to kill somebody, especially for no reason, it would have to be if they were threatening my life. I dont see that as animal behaviour .... human nature
