Is Marijuana DEADLY?

I know it kills brain cells and all, but does it make you do crazy stuff like murder,sucidie,robbery etc?

Marijuana is deadly. As a clinician specialist in drugs and alcohol who has worked with hundreds of addicts, I have seen the devastation of Cannabis. I have knowledge of people who have died during a psychosis triggered by heavy smoking or who have been shot by somebody affected by intense paranoia from cannabis-smoking. There is a large amount of research that connects Cannabis to death, including through driving. Young people who smoke Cannabis are more likely to be affected by mental illness and because it is a depressant, people have committed suicide after chronic use. Anyone who is saying that cannabis does not kill has no expert knowledge of the drug.

No, there is no evidence of marijuana being the cause of any murder,suicide,robbery etc, if taken properly it can even help medical problems.

I personally think you are talking about alcohol which has been known to cause the killing of brain cells, murder,suicide,robbery etc.

Scientifically no. The perception that is marijuana bad is mainly a policitcal one. The reasons for this vary. One being it is popular for politicians to say they are against it because that is popular with conservative voters. Secondly, ;aw enforcement like to keep marijuana a class 1 drug (meaning serious) because that way they can allocate the "War on Drugs" conducted by our Government to this durg while seemingly letting more serious drugs (cocaine, heroin) be sold. This is because the underground black market makes a lot of money selling cocaine and heroin, and one of the biggest suppliers, funders, and profiters are the US Government. Keeping the public's attention on marijuana is a distration from what they don't want us to know.

Anyway, whiole over all, it seems to be fine; especially compare to the tyranical use of alcohol by society, all drugs have the capacity to affect each individual diiferently; but for the most part it only causes one to be happy and lazy! Laziness is the real problem with marijuana!

If you were to experiment, environment is key. Make sure you are somewhere on your own terms.

But, overall, it's better to stay away from all drugs and alcohol because it's bad for your health! And that is what matters!

It varies from person to person and also depends on how much you smoke and what kind of 'puff' you like. Some people have a propensity to crazy behaviour and by smoking their boundaries are blurred and they carry out things they might not normally do. Yes, in answer to your question marijuana can be deadly in the wrong hands.

I am seriously surprised you asked that!

Marijuana makes you somewhat unstable, and your nerves might go a bit nuts from that too. Of course, Marijuna is deadly, in many ways, including the fact that it makes you do crazy stuff like murder, suicide and robbery, and so on.

Think. Even if it was heroin, ecstacy or any other mis-used drug, people who use them are either looking for fun, satisfying curiosity, forced to take them, or depressed. And one more thing about these mis-used drugs; They are EXPENSIVE. People who use these drugs often aren't particularily rich, some teens with no income, working individuals who have no money, or let's say people with middle-classed income with depression.

Like many other illegal drugs, if you run out on Marijuana, your body craves more of it, causing your body to feel immensly uncomfortable, snot coming out of your nose, saliva out of your mouth, tears keep flowing, just agony, though I don't really know how far that agony will go, for I have not tried any of them. When they run out on their own funds, of course they'll go for quick options like robbery or even to murder, to get money, and to get out of their agony, only temporarily.

And the people who are in depression, they take illegal drugs, so they can feel "like heaven" for a while. The drugs they take will make them feel hazy, like the world is spinning around, stuff like that. And illegal drugs like the "esctasy" pill that they take will attack the nerves in the brain, the kind of nerve where if it is hit, will cause people to feel happy and out of this world, although of course it is for only a short period of time. Of course they will get more, and their brain cells will die very quickly, causing more depression. And also if their brain cells are outta whack, you can can expect the guy who takes it will be the same too. Rational thinking will be completely ignored, they just want more drugs. At a point the ones that are taking it won't even recognize their loved ones anymore. They will get paranoid and afraid though nothing is against them. At the end? Another suicide case on the newspaper.

And if they don't have enough money, they run out on these drugs, they can't accept reality, you can expect the same case. A bang of the gun, or a tug of the noose, dead.

All in all, YES, Marijuana IS deadly, just like any other drug. Not only to the addict but also the people around them. It doesn't really matter if the drug is weaker or stronger or not. If you don't quit being an addict, one thing is sure, either you end up resembling a dead person or you WILL be dead. I'm not saying you are one, but if it is not on the medication prescription, I won't want to take it. Try, and be an addict. That's always my belief.

Absolutely Not!! And for killing brain cells, that is a common myth. There is no scientific conclusive evidence that pot kills brain cells. Marijuana is a natural plant. Although people out there do manipulate it to make it more potent, it is the safest substance out there and it is even safer than alcohol. LEGALIZE IT!!!!!

NO. I don't know what you've been told but it was obviously to keep you from trying Marijuana. It is in no way deadly. It does kill brain cells, but so does drinking alcohol. All drugs aren't good for you, even many perscribed ones.
Marijuana has never been known to kill anyone.

The simple honest answer is this: Marijuana alone has NEVER KILLED ANYBODY, EVER.

If I stand in front of you and and smoke an ounce of marijuana, I would have a sore throat, I would be incredibly intoxicated, I would probably pass out, but I would wake up ok later on.

If I stand in front of you and put on 5 boxes of nicotene patches, I WILL DIE.

If I stand in front of you and Drink a gallon of jack daniel's, I WILL DIE.

If I stand in front of you and eat a whole bottle of Tylenol, I WILL DIE.

Are you starting to see the lapse in logic here? Why is the only thing that can't kill you the only thing on this list that is ILLEGAL?

dont smoke some and it shouldnt be legalised.
it depends on the person who smokes it but excessive use can be fatel.
it mellows you out you feel happy relaxed.your more aware of things.
but then theres paranoia,delusions, and your slow to react to situations.then theres the reality of this evil world it hits you and you remeber how good you felt when you had that smoke so you have another and another.
you can no longer face reality.
then theres the depression you smoke because your depressed but its the drug making you depressed.people take advantage of you and you get paranoid something bads going happen so you smoke more and get more paranoid.
suicide is more likely to happen than murder.and you could put yourself in dangerous situations and if you werent smoking it you wouldnt be there
then theres night terrors and all sorts when trying to come off it

Only to your brain, as far as I know. If you smoked it like people do cigarettes, you'd obvoiusly get all the illnesses they get, but I'm not sure anybody could smoke it that much and be able to function long enough to get heart disease from it.
