http://www.freewebs.com : is a great site for making your first website. You can page pages, blogs, photo albums, guestbooks ect.
Another one of my personal favorites is
http://www.bravenet.com: This host is slightly more advanced, but if you use the website wizard your site will be up in minutes. This host has MANY great web tools including password protection, blogs, FAQ services, Forums, Live Chat, Classifieds ect. Additionally they have a service called the Affiliate service where you make a dollar every time you send someone to their site and they regester.
http://www.12gbfree.com/: A advanced host. With no website builder you would have to get a template and build the site yourself or upload a CMS (like PHPbb or WordPress).
http://www.wordpress.com/: Then of course there is the blog website for making blogs and pages interchangibly

There are many places which offer free web sites, and "wizards" to help you design and set up the site.
If you want to use Yahoo's, go to the site http://geocities.com and sign up for a free site. It will walk you through a simple set up process and will have a generic page up and running for you within 20 minutes.
From there, their software gives you lots tools you can use to easily customize the site for you.
As you become experienced, you may then want to build a page "from scratch" using a program like Front Page or even Word. Then upload the page to your site.

Is it a seperate domain in your name?? if so you need to do it yourself by learning some HTML or ask a webdesigner to do it for you. If you need guidance in doing by yourself just ask for help on the following forum.. There are lot there to help you for free
