I should join the british army,and risk getting killed in iraq where there was no weapons of mass destruction and the people of this country were lied to by our so called leader,what sort of insentive is that.?

if you think i am insulting our troops then you are mistaken,I have and am going back on another tour our boys are demoriliesd with a war based on lies and a war we can't win.

You should join the British Forces for the Love of your country and Her Majesty the Queen. It is not just about Iraq or Afghanistan . We are peace keepers , humanitarians and life savers. British Troops evacuated people to safety from Lebanon recently & were the first on the scene to help victims of the Sumatra Tsunami. We spend time in 3rd world countries teaching their Armies better practice and helping to save yet more lives.
Considering the amount of Troops we have sent back and forth to Iraq over the last 5 years, our losses are relatively low for a war zone.
CHICKEN! Get in there, if you have got the b*llocks for it. Which I strongly suspect you have not. You are just making feeble excuses & most certainly insulting our Troops.

It is up to your belief that if called to serve in the military, you will go wherever your commanders send you. Picking and choosing your battles does not correspond with the military line of command and their soldiers being so selective. You either serve or you don't.

No, you should not. to have, we read, sub-standard accommodation for your family, poor equipment and pay and even worse, if you are seriously injured or killed your family aren't exactly well looked after. if we were attacked, that is a completely different matter, but for this illegal mess of a war...no.
