bush jr. went against his father's wishes when it came to getting into iraq ....... stirred up the worms
i imagine bush jr. takes his father's advise more seriously since.
the bush family seems congenial and loving and i'd imagine that they all confer with one another often...... being president is difficult for anyone and everyone has opinions to share.
there are all sorts of outside advisers for the president to confer ..... all are people who come and go according to their new jobs and positions with in the government.
i think someone gotta be crazy to want to grow up and be president cause they have so much responsibility and can't please all the people and no president is popular with everyone

Current presidents often consult their predecessors. With that predecessor a relative one could presume he probably does. Whether he taks the old man's advice is another story.
