Last night I watched FOX NEWS. The O'reilly show.
With Laura, talk show radio girl, as host. Talk about
spin. The Republicans are in denial that the state of
the BUSH ADMINISTRATION, is in turmoil. 12 years
in the Senate, and that's all, you guys can do.
Democrats had it for 30 long years, and also the only
president to be in the WHITE HOUSE for almost 20
years. Incredible. America, has shown so much love
for the Left, and they will do it again, in 2008.
It is a hard pill to swallow, but swallow it. Clinton will
save the day. Then things will go back to normal.
Great economy, lower gas prices, public service funds,
domestic security, foreclosure protection, job security,
and higher wages for the American worker ! And lower
crime, too. So is it me, or are Republicans just
brainwashed ? Best answer wins. :)

Not so much as brainwashed as in DENIAL and unwillingness to accept the harsh reality of the GOP and the country at this point. O'Reilly, Limbaugh, et al can preach all they want how Bush is the best president ever, that the economy is the best ever and that the oil prices are just right, or even that the sky is green, but that will not replace the truth that is the opposite.

To the original poster. You made a fundamental flaw in your question namely, you have to have a brain to be brainwashed. Most die hard republicans don't have enough braincells to think for themselves let alone form their own opinion on a matter. The same applies to ANYONE who is a sheep and doesn't do their own research and get to the bottom of the pile only to discover you've been conned as both Republicans and Democrats are owned by the same lobby groups and political masters.

Absolutely they are brainwashed....I guess they think the only way to bring peace is through violence...and not just violence...but war against a country that had no threat to us... Why don't they care about actually hunting down the ones who caused 9/11? Was is really justice for America after 9/11 to attack Iraq and let Bin Laden roam around like he is the untouchable?
