After you A my headline Q, proceed to widen your answer as follows: Given that Bucky Fuller thought of the Earth as a kind of spaceship, would you be willing to extend your A to my Q about choosing your crew companions to the entire planet qua spaceship?

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Yes, there are different kinds of smarts, but the smarts I think I am referring to is good common sense in addition to the expertise required for the mission. Many A's are wonderful bec they are on target and the humor thrown in only enhances the points made.

My fellow astro-/cosmo-nau(gh)ters, a good sense of humor of any other kind is not helpful and it violates mission/Q protocols! LOL

Well smart people of course! I don't want to die up there! I want to make it back to earth safely. I don't care who is with me as long as they prove to me with experience and a paper that says they have gone through school and training programs I'm okay.

Aatually, to be honest, I would rather take some dumb people. Why? Because a bunch of smart people would over analyze and intellectualize the whole thing, and I would rather hear lots of "ooohhh"'s and "ahhhhh"'s than some explanation of the force of gravity and centrifugal force blah blah blah.... Not to mention, I think less intelligent people would laugh more than the smarties at the many zero gravity pranks I would be sure to pull!

i would take the smart people, trust me you dont want to go on any trip, whether across country, to the moon, or threw life, with the dumb ones, for often they dont know they are dumb, and wont accept it when others tell them!
and no, i dont think anyone is totally dumb in all areas, but there are those who have no since of direction, no mechanical ability at all (even to know when something is broken and call in an expert)

I wouldn't dream of taking stupid people. They would ruin the mission. Taking smarties would make everything a lot smoother and less terrifying.

Could I leave the stupid people behind on my way back to earth? If so, then I choose the latter.
