if it looks like there are bubbles in it simple constipation, you've fixed the problem he'll be fine.

there is a chance if there are no bubbles that i might be a bacterial infection, but if he doesn't show symptoms again I wouldn't worry.

White stringy poop can be the end results of an exceedingly protein wealthy eating recurring. You don;t point out what you feed or how lots, yet verify which you do are making use of a sturdy high quality dry flake food as a staple. Guppies do want and luxuriate in some wealthy ingredients like bloodworms or mosquito larvae, besides the incontrovertible fact that that's fairly simple to over do it. supply up feeding something like that for a week and decrease back on the flake food. that's going to mostly probably sparkling up quickly order (a million-2 days) if this grew to become into the reason and you may purely alter what and how lots you're feeding sooner or later to evade it from reoccuring. i could fairly advise you attempt this earlier purely dumping a gaggle of chemical compounds in the tank. whilst it relatively is each and every from time to time the desirable process action, mostly aquarium keepers way, excess of use such products and tend to think of the medical shelter something is in a bottle or batch of pills from the aquarium save.

Do not ever flush a fish down the toilet. It is cruel and they are put in more misery, not "out of" it. White stringy poop is a sign of an intestinal parasite. The advise to go to a good fish store and let them help you treat it is good. Also, be sure you give him a large enough container: 5+ gallons and a heater, and change 25% of the water every other day if you don't have a filter.
