I once tok my halloween decorations down on Nov. 1st, and put my Christmas decorations up the same day! There is NOTHING wrong with what you suggest. Anyone who has a problem with this is a Grinch!
Have a great holiday season!

People here having been decorating since Halloween. In fact, a little elf came a put a Christmas tree up in my home a week and a half ago. It was a gift for my 5 y/o from her former daycare lady who decorates homes for the holidays. She's very close to my girl who recently started school and she wanted to do something nice for her. It's such a sweet gesture. Really the choice is yours, whatever you're comfortable with. If you have small children & they enjoy it, then why not let them enjoy it a little longer. Happy Holidays. 2D

Not at all. There is a family down the street from me that put all his stuff up the day after halloween. And retail stores have no trouble decorating before halloween so go for it!

I typically think that Christmas decorations should not go up until after Thanksgiving, but if you will be busy then I think it is okay to put them up now just please don't turn the lights on yet.

I think it is perfectly fine, since you will only come back after Thanksgiving. No harm decorating and giving it a "light-up-ceremony" only when you are around! =)

Hey, if you waited this long, kudos to you. I saw houses decorated the days after Halloween! So I'd definitely say it's ok to decorate now. Go for it.
