Well, if you're eating at McD's, KFC and BK...I think you know how un-healthy the food is. Same thing with certain choices at "healthy" places like Subway...if you go with the fat-and-calorie saturated meatball, or tuna, or chicken parmesan or philly cheesesteak sub... don't go crying to momma. And as for starbucks... just add it up! Whole milk plus sugar-spun coffee (meaning the coffee is ground with raw sugar, so you get sugar in your coffee before any is even added) plus sugar and cream and any syrups then on some beverages whipped cream too... Puh-leez! You have to understand that it's not healthy! Plus paying close to $5 for coffee is ridiculous.

Yes. I am not a moron and I do not need my food choices policed. If I want a big greasy burger with a whole fryer basket full of fries and a bucket of Coke, then that is what I will eat. If one person actually says, "I had no idea the side salad with a dash of fat free balsamic vinegar dressing is healthier than two Big Mac's and a Super Size fry. Good thing big brother is looking out for me. I am so glad there is someone to interfere in my life and tell me what I should eat. I'll have the salad.", I would be shocked. I'd say more but all of the sudden I feel the need to hit a drive thru for an Egg McMuffin (with real fatty mayo slathered on it), a couple of hashbrowns, and a big soda- unless of course they let me know how many calories are in it...

I am wholly put off by these places all the more now. I am quite sure that these calorie tables up not from a sense of moral obligation, but as a sop, paying lip service to their critics and trying to deflect bad publicity. In general people won't be encouraged or otherwise by the calorie chart. If someone wants a Big Mac and they are horrified by the calorie count, they will still go ahead and order it.

I very seldom eat at these places, but yes, I would still buy their food. By the way, I read a report once that the whopper has 900 calories.

Yes, it would not be telling me anything I didn't know before, and that is that fast food is horribly unhealthy and bad for me. Sure, I don't know the EXACT calorie count in a quarter pounder, but I know it ain't 25 calories. Anyone who says that they don't know (like the people who tried to sue McDonald's) are idiots.

Only if Macs lowered the regular burgers back to the original 15 cents, like they were when I was a kid.

I don't really buy from those places anyway (Caribou or Starbucks sometimes, but otherwise, yuck!).

Especially NOT KFC! They torture their birds! It's disgusting!

I already know how bad that food is that's why I don't eat there everyday.

I don't buy their food now, but I don't think it would change the majority of consumers.

I don't buy much now. I like to cook myself. I know what's in it.
