yeah i know theyre really lame!!!!! so are the 1s that report stuff who cares!!!! if u dont like it move on to the next

Some people need "small pleasures" or perhaps it should be "small minded" pleasures.
Of course it may not be a single individual as the combination of several people thumbing down may result in every answer being hit.
I pay attention to the thumbs a bit, but realize that they are just opinions. Many times I've given factual, accurate answers and have been thumbed down. Also I often receive several thumbs down but get "the best answer".

I dont think the thumbs down thing is a big deal, if thats all they do. its the people who go around reporting everything that tick me off. If you're that sensitive and easilly offended, then the internet definitely isnt the place for you.
