I like a variation of this called Apple Crumb Cheese pie...it's made with 3/4 oz. cream cheese , 1 T milk, 1/4 C sugar, 1T flour and 1 egg, mixed and poured over the apples (which are mixed with sugar and cinnamon) then add the crumb mix. Don't think I can put the whole recipe here, but that's basically the only difference. It's yummy!

Since its my job to make the pies this year I am going to experiment. Apple, Pumpkin and Banana Cream, to be on the safe side, and then Rhubarb (from scratch, fresh rhubarb), chocolate cream, raspberry cream, lemon, and this tropical one I found, it sounds REALLY easy so why not:

Make a tropical dessert, an ice cream pie, at your leisure and store it in your freezer.
Graham Cracker Crust:

Mix 1 cup graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 3 tablespoons melted butter. Put mixture into a 9-inch pie pan. Spread evenly over the bottom and sides, packing to form a crust. Chill 30 minutes.

Carefully pack 1 quart of softened vanilla ice cream into the crust. Spread 1/2 cup drained, crushed pineapple over top of pie. Decorate with 1/2 cup coconut, maraschino cherries, and nuts such as pecans. Place in freezer and keep frozen until ready to serve. Serves 8.

We are having a Pumpkin pie (my MIL is bringing) and I want to make an Apple pie with dried cherries -I haven't decided exactly how I am going to do it yet though - I am making up the recipe.

And we are having an Onion Pie as a side dish -- OMG it is soooo good.

Apple cranberry with strudel topping. I also plan to make a pumpkin cheesecake roll. You can find the recipe on the back of the label on a can of Libby's pumpkin puree'

We have TONS of pies, because everyone comes for dessert so I am making: Apple, banana cream, cherry, pumpkin, chocolate pudding, cheesecake, and peach. That combined with a bunch of cookies, and some cakes.
