Haven't you realized that there are lots of beautiful things in the world around us that we have NOT seen and often we take it for granted?
Often, we see the bad things in life that life sucks, that the President is a loser, that my boss annoys me, Mc'Donalds is boring... yadda yadda yadda.

Come to think of it, there are millions of people out there in the world who are homeless, who have no food to eat, no good education to receive, etc.
We should be thankful for what we have right now. Everything and anything we have right now are blessings.

There are many things in life, I’m thankful for.

I’m thankful that I’m still alive and healthy,
I’m thankful that I have such a loving family, friends and a man who love me so much. I thank ‘em for believing in me, for their love and endless support. If it weren't for my parents, I wouldn't be here. If it weren't for all of ‘em, I wouldn't know unconditional love.
I’m thankful for the food I eat, all these beautiful clothes I’m wearing, a car to drive, a house to live in and a great job I’ve always wanted.
I’m thankful for God for giving me strength and for creating such a beautiful earth with amazingly beautiful natures; the beaches, the hills, mountains, flora, the smell of the flowers and animals, the birds singing in the morning…., the sound of the wave, the rain, the Sun, Stars and the Sky and everything!
Thanks’ to the technology. I mean... really. I can’t imagine life’s without great technologies these days.

Aww.. There a lot more I want to be thankful for but I can’t possibly list ‘em all down. I guess... that’s all I can think of right now.

What about you??

*Happy Thanksgiving*

I am thankful for each new day. No matter what happened the day before, each day feels fresh to me when I wake up.

I am thankful for my husband/family and friends:

My husband, strong, humanitarian, sweet, intelligent, individual - no one else like him.

My family, although most of us are quite different, but we pretty much get along. Also, we learn from one another, and can see other's viewpoints.

My friends. Just good people. Luckily the friends I have known for years (most of them) retained their core self, so even though I don't get to see or talk to some of them as often as I would like, when I do, its like time stood still in a way.

I am thankful for my pets (they are our children!)

I am thankful for having a job, and of my co-workers (very nice co-workers, and there is a lot of them!).

I am thankful for basic humanity, and the kindness a stranger will extend to you; just to be friendly, or if you are in harm's way.

I am thankful for the beauty and peace of nature

I am thankful for freedom.

I am thankful for material things, as not everyone has the luxury to spend their money on extras.

I am thankful for the diversity in the world.

I am also thankful that we can all communicate/share and learn from another - right here!

Lovely question, #1 girl!

Someone, a long, long time ago, told me we should always be thankful... for everything... of course, at that time, I was 11, I had had those 11 years of a difficult childhood and I just didn't believe her... she was my friend, though, and her words kept floating around in my head for years... It was three or four years later, that I began to realize what she meant by that... I discovered that the hard things -abusive mother, bullies at school and many other bad experiences-, had made me strong... and suddenly I learned to forgive... it was out of desperation, because it seemed that suffering would never stop, and I couldn't hold any more anger inside... so I had to let it go and dissolve... and I did... and with that came unconditional peace and happiness... no matter what others did... I was happy. I couldn't understand it, but I loved it... And then, what I understood was that I valued that happiness more than anyone... because I had just stepped out of hell, and for me, being just happy was like heaven. It was then when I thanked that friend and told her she was right... and I felt thankful. Not that I liked those bad experiences, or they were necessary; they were not... but since they were there, and I couldn't escape them -we can't escape certain things in life, and especially when we're children...-, it was just logical to make the best of them... and feel thankful. For the strength, for the wisdom, for learning to value what you have... But the best has just come... Until this year, I was still a slave inside, even though I was free from the biggest bully -my mother-, and far, far away from her... she was still inside me, blaming me, making me feel bad about myself, making me think I was weak and I couldn't do anything without her permission or approval... But the truth was there for me to see, all these years... it was all in my mind. Now I see it was an illusion, she can't do anything... lies can't hurt you if you don't believe them... And I'm really thankful that I had this vision, even though it involved having to be a slave for so many years... because now I understand how lies work, how people control others, and I can start freeing them and helping them like nobody else could... Without the experience, I couldn't understand it... and I couldn't help anybody who is being abused... so I'm thankful... it all has made me wiser... That has been the worst of my experiences, but you can always find something you can use... even in those... and most of the times, when well used, they make really good tools for life... powerful tools, lots of wisdom and compassion... and also the strength to fight for your own freedom (or the freedom of others). I think all those things are wonderful treasures, and we should always be thankful for having them.

I'm thankful for all the lucky chances I got, I'm thankful to my parents for helping me out when I needed to, thankful for those talents I have that I am able to use them for the good of everyone else.

Most of all, I'm thankful for that small fact that if the Earth had moved a few degrees in orbit, we wouldn't be here. Of course I'm thankful for the fact that the Earth is orbiting in a perfect environment for us people to grow and prosper in. If it weren't for that, we wouldn't even be here to be thankful to and for things.

Most other people don't seem to be thankful for that in the least...

And equally most of all, I'm thankful for being blessed with an anatomically normal body and all my senses working, so I can experience all of it to it's fullest.

:)

And I'm thankful for computers so I don't have to feel guilty writing my novels on paper anymore.

I am very thankful and grateful to God that I am still alive and that I have good health. I am also very thankful for all of my friends and family that I have, a house to live in, a job that I can go to. The most important person that I am very thankful for is my mother because she gave birth to me, she taught me and still teaches me to do so many different things and she believes in me. I am also very thankful to our troops in Iraq. The most important person that I am very thankful and grateful to is God for putting me on this wonderful earth so that I can experience new things and learn from my mistakes that I have made. I am also very thankful that I have my life to live one day at a time so that I can enjoy all the wonderful, beautiful and nice things in the world that God has created. I am also very thankful that I have my significant other in my life because he loves me very much and he is the most wonderful and important man that I have in my life and he treats me nice. His name is Robert C. Reisig and I love him very much because he is a very romantic, respectful, kind, trusting, faithful, loyal and loving man. He also is a very hot, attractive, handsome and sexy man and he has a great and fantastic body. Happy Thanksgiving.
