Yes, the magnetic attraction and repulsion from the moon creates this ebbing and flowing of the water, just as all things are of a pendulous nature, so are the waters. The light of the moon also creates what we refer to as gravity. Blessings

It's technically not a tsunami until it hits land so it would just be a tidal wave
